Devil?s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa Chef Demo Classes & Dinners

Sit back with a glass of wine as Chef Evan shares his secrets, recipes and anecdotes. These lively evenings include a three-course dinner of everything you saw prepared with wine pairings.?Held in the Yager House, a historical tribute to original Ranch founder Rod Yager, this intimate special events facility exudes a cabin-in-the-wilderness kind of charm with modern-day finishes and technology that includes a specially appointed cooking/demonstration kitchen, and dining and living room areas.

Cost:??$85/person is inclusive of demonstration cooking class, three-course meal with wine pairings, apron and recipe book.??Class size is limited and advanced reservations are required and are encouraged to be made well in advance.

Time:?Classes run from 5:30 to 7:30 followed by three-course dinner and wine pairings.

The right beer enhances and complements a meal. We partner with brewmasters to develop a menu that includes their beers and invite them to join us to share their processes and ingredients with you. Reservations recommended.

Cost:?Starting at $39/person includes three courses, three beers and a gift from the brewer.

Time:?Seatings run from 6 to 9 pm and reservations are recommended.

James Beard Foundation Dinner at the Ranch

October 4?- The mission of the James Beard Foundation is to celebrate, nurture and preserve America?s diverse culinary heritage and future. Prominent and talented chefs are invited to join their efforts by hosting James Beard Foundation dinners to showcase their culinary abilities and honor that mission. A very special evening you?ll remember for a lifetime.

Cost:?$200/person; $150/James Beard Foundation members
