Mike Stolarik serves as president and chief operating officer at QinetiQ North America, where he holds oversight of the mission solutions, systems engineering and technology solutions groups.
His responsibilities also include profit and loss, business development, information services, human resources, contracts administration and integrating newly-acquired companies.
Prior to his current position, he served as president of the company?s mission solutions group and worked with clients in the defense, intelligence, homeland security and space sectors in areas of engineering, security and information technology support.
According to the company, the group has more than 3,000 employees and generates $600 million in annual revenue.
Stolarik joined the company in March 2007 upon its acquisition of Analex Corp., which he joined in February 2004 as president and COO, holding responsibility for four divisions and three subsidiaries.
His 37-year professional career includes service as president and CEO of Space Applications Corp., a software development and systems engineering provider focused on national reconnaissance and surveillance assets.
Stolarik has also served as executive vice president and COO at GRC International, where that company says revenue went from $160 million to $230 million during his tenure there.
He was promoted to president and CEO of GRC after AT&T acquired the company in 2000 and made it a subsidiary.
Stolarik subsequently served as EVP of Titan Corp.?s technical resources sector and as managing partner at the Insight Consulting Group.
He holds an master?s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and a bachelor?s degree in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
